My Story
When I decided to "re-invent" myself, I wanted to find a way to uniquely express myself in the world, and share what I believed to be my God-given gifts. This is when I stumbled on the idea of Life Coaching.
When I told my grown daughters about my idea of becoming a Life Coach, their immediate response was "duh!..." They validated what I sort-of knew about myself, but didn't fully recognize, or embrace. I'd really been "coaching" my whole life ...
I've always had a gift for making people feel safe, and nurtured on some level. People felt heard, valued, understood ... often inspired when they sat with me, or spoke with me on the phone.
I'd often joked I should put up a sign just like Lucy from the Peanuts cartoons ... "Psychiatric Help --- 5-cents ---The Doctor is in..."
Of course, I am not a psychiatrist, however, I am able to help people in a profoundly powerful way as a Professional Life Coach*.
I have a special place in my heart for empowering women --- especially mothers (& even more so, mothers of multiples!). I believe life is FOR us, not against us and that we are divinely supported. And, when we remember, or learn to take our "power" back and tap into our internal compass ... now we are really living a much more amazing, and purposeful-filled life.
Of course, as it goes I had to personally learn this for myself. As a mother of identical twin girls, and a son (all under the age of 3 at one point), I experienced the crazy roller coaster days of parenting, working full-time, and being in what I deemed an unhealthy marriage. I'm on the other side of it all now ... children are adults; I'm divorced and am now happily independent, and self-empowered.
And, still ... daily I continue to learn the utmost importance of self-love, and personal empowerment. I believe this wealth of life-experiences, and the internal work and daily practices I have personally implemented, makes me an amazing Life Coach - YOUR Coach!
